Kylie Birthstory
I had my baby! So here is how it all went down!
On Sunday my husband and I decided to go over to my Mom's house to visit. We went over sometime after 4:00p.m. and I started to get some contractions around 5:00pm. I seriously thought that it was just false labor because I hadn't felt ANY before that! They got closer together and painful *really* quickly. I figured that it was probably time to call the Dr., but I hadn't packed my hospital bag yet! So we rushed home to get the bag ready as well as everything that Alana would need (she stayed with my mom). I think I got to the hospital around 8:30 or 9:00p.m.
Once I was in the hospital they checked me and I was 5-6 cm dilated. I had a fast labor with Alana so I was concerned that would happen again and the first thing I said to the nurse after she checked me was "I want the epidural!" I had natural childbirth with Alana and was terrified of doing that again! So I kept progressing rather quickly and luckily we were able to get the anesthesiologist in there to get my epidural going! The contractions were so painful...I am such a weakling and couldn't handle it! Within 10 minutes of putting the epidural in, I was numb. It was wonderful! I was able to smile and talk and relax. I was seriously freaking myself out before because of the pain.
Anyway, at about 1:00a.m. the Dr. decided that it was time for me to push. I couldn't feel the pressure at first because of the epidural, but after maybe 10 minutes of pushing I could tell when the contractions were coming again although I still didn't feel any pain! I pushed for about an hour and I was so frustrated! Alana came out in 3 pushes and silly me thought I could do that again! I was so determined, but it still took too long. Well...the Dr. and nurses said that I did awesome and most people would have my 1 hour of pushing be 2-3 hours! I couldn't imagine pushing that long...I was so worn out from 1 hour! Well Kylie Alexa was born at 2:00a.m. on May 5th. She was 9lbs. 5oz. and 21 inches long. She was also facing up so I guess that is why pushing was so difficult.
She has been a really great baby. She eats very well and will sleep for a good amount of time between feedings. The only problem with that is that I still have to be up with Alana while she sleeps so I am still so tired!.
Alana has been adjusting really well to having a little sister. She likes to wave to her and kiss her. She has acted up a little bit, but that is normal. She just really wants her Daddy all the time now! I think she's a little angry at me, but I'm sure we'll be cool soon!
I think that is it...I'm not sure if I left anything out..I am still so tired!

I'm not sure who has or hasn't heard yet but my baby was born!!!!
Alana Amber Chung.
July 15, 2006 at 5:55 a.m. She was 6lbs 4oz. 19inches.
After a painful, but luckily short, labor, I had her pushed out in about 3 pushes! O.O don't ask how that happened but I'm very lucky cause it was so painful.
I actually just went to the doctors on Friday for a regular checkup and my doctor got worried and sent me over to the hospital telling me that they will probably induce me at this point. Now I was still 2 weeks early but they were worried that I had the pre eclampsia. If I was allowed to go to my due date it would put my life on risk because I could have seizures and then it would put my baby's life at risk so they decided that I probably did have it and they weren't taking the risk even if I didn't and luckily I was already 2 cm dilated and so even though there was a chance of a c-section with induction they started the process. I guess I took very well to the drugs because the only one they gave me wasn't even really supposed to start labor! We planned to start the induction in the morning when the doctor got there.
I'm not sure when labor started for me but it was early morning and it was painful. My back was completely killing me. I can't even try to describe the type of pain I was in. I hardly even remember, I was hurting so much. When the pains started to get even worse I started asking the nurse for some sort of pain relief even though I had wanted to avoid it. The pain got unbearable and truthfully, I didn't even know this was intense labor before the baby was born...I thought I was constipated (which is apparently what it feels like when her head is trying to push out) the nurse was surprised when she checked me and I was fully 10 cm dilated because not that long ago I was still just 2 cms! She had to hurry and call the doctor. Jimmy woke up at 5:30 to me yelling in pain and he called my mom to get her down there. My mom got there at 5:40. The doctor at 5:45. And after setting everything up quickly, she was born at 5:55.
And you want to know the strangest part? I still want one or two more children someday! Once the pain is over and you see your child, you really forget about what you just went through and it is truly all worth it. She's absolutely amazing. Sure I get frustrated, I have crazy levels of hormones causing mood swings and I'm still kinda hurting and recovering, but that is alright. I think I'm doing good!
Here are a few pictures! I will have a LOT MORE later!!
Here is a very proud (and obviously SLEEPY) proud papa!!!
She gets sooo hungry! Such a tiny little girl!

Wedding photos Sarah and Jimmy married 6-10-2006
Alright! Here are the promised pictures of my wedding! It was a wonderful ceremony and a great reception. I really enjoyed myself even though it was frustrating having no control over what was happening after planning everything ourselves. haha. I'll let the pictures talk cause I'm tired T_T
My nephew Adison (ring bearer) walking down the ailse
My father walking me down the aisle.

During the ceremony. I have a lot more but they aren't uploaded on a site yet so yeah...I'm lazy!

Walking down the ailse as Husband and Wife.
My niece Aurora (she was the flower girl) going and picking up the flower petals she dropped.
The reception line thingy.
Here is the wedding cake. I actually gave up on getting a cake made and did it myself. Not quite a traditional wedding cake but I think it came out alright.
About to cut the cake.
Cutting the cake!

It may be a sideways picture but it is a pretty good one of my dress, I think.
